Match Report U11 Play Off Final - Old Leos v. Otley Scorpions
A thrilling climax to the season saw the Scorpions maintain their unbeaten league record with a tied match at Leos on Friday night.

Batting first Otley made a solid start with Tom Brady scoring 14 not out. The loss of 2 quick wickets set us back a bit, but 10 not out from Joe Braham at the end of the innings saw a recovery to 233-3. The total was a little disappointing being our lowest score of the season.

Leos survived a number of early scares, but with no quick wickets it looked like defeat was looming for the Scorpions. However a catch by Joe Braham off the bowling of Oliver Woodley put us back in the game. Leos looked to be taking control of the game until 3 late wickets changed the match, first 2 run outs, then another catch by Joe Braham this time off Kyle Steval. Scores were tied with the last ball to be bowled which was blocked by the Leos batsman to end their innings at 233-4. The trophy will now be shared by the 2 teams.

A fantastic game played in a great spirit, and the culmination of a fine season for both the Otley U11 teams.
